HESPERIA – Wednesday June 10, 2020 around 12:30am, a woman crashed her car into a building after trying to flee the scene after sideswiping a vehicle. Her maroon Hyundai sedan lost control, and crashed into a commercial building on the property of “Topaz Marketplace.” Blue Ocean Real Estate, and Oak Blossom Salon, next door, sustained damages. The owners of both businesses allowed access to film the damage from within.
The woman who crashed into the building, fled the scene on foot. She ran home, and was located there by sheriff deputies. I was told the woman cooperated with police. She sustained very minor injuries.
The woman’s husband arrived at the crash scene to apologize for the damages his wife caused, and to ensure their cooperation. It’s unknown if the woman was arrested, however i was told she was issued a citation.
The crash is believed to be DUI related
