CRASON, CALIFORNIA – An alleged intoxicated woman was arrested after she tried to flee the scene of a four-car traffic collision. The woman was driving a black Mercedes CLS 550 and is believed to have run a red light and crashed head-on into a small black Mazda SUV. Upon impact, the black Mercedes caught on fire and when firefighters arrived, they quickly knocked down the flames. Two other vehicles were also damaged in the accident and a female driver was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The occupants of the black Mazda SUV were a mother and daughter from Joshua Tree, they were in Carson attending the daughter’s best friend’s “Sweet Sixteen” birthday party just around the corner from the accident.
