FONTANA – On Tuesday August 21, 2018 around 10:45pm, CHP responded to a traffic collision on the 10 freeway near the 15 freeway interchange. Reports indicate a front tire came off of a black Chevy sedan traveling eastbound on the 10 freeway. The tire bounced over the center divider and struck a brand new Honda traveling westbound, crushing it’s roof, and windshield. The tire then bounced backed over to the eastbound lanes, where a third vehicle involved, the white Prius, ran over the tire and drug it to the Etiwanda offramp. Unconfirmed reports are that a female passenger in the Honda was injured.
