RIM FORREST, CALIFORNIA – Just after midnight on May 25th, San Bernardino PD was in pursuit of a suspect near CalState University San Bernardino. The suspect continued up Highway 18 towards Lake Arrowhead. Deputies with San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department and officers with the CHP were able to get into position ahead of the suspect and set up successful spike strips. After the tires on the suspect vehicle were blown, San Bernardino PD did a PIT maneuver on the vehicle and brought the suspect to a stop in the community of Rim Forrest. The sole occupant of the sedan was then taken into custody. No other information was provided at the scene.
