POMONA, CALIFORNIA – A Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputy in a black and white was at the corner of W. Holt Ave and North Hamilton Blvd when a white vehicle drove by and shot multiple rounds at a male subject in the street. The suspect’s vehicle shot then fled westbound on Holt Avenue with the deputy in pursuit of it. The sheriff deputy lost the vehicle somewhere around W. Holt Ave and the 71 freeway. The deputy turned around and went back to where the shooting victim was. Pomona Pd and Los Angeles County Fire responded to the scene. Paramedics and firefighters declared the male deceased at scene. Pomona Pd has Holt Avenue closed in both directions as detectives investigate the fatal shooting. Pomona PD could be seen giving CPR until fire & paramedics arrived.
