PALM SPRINGS- On the evening of September 17th at approximately 6:00 pm Riverside County Sheriff’s Palm Desert Station started mandatory evacuations in the area of Fall Creek Road, Hicks Lane, Creosote Lane, Snow Creek Road due to the shift in the winds. The winds are currently blowing at 10 mph in the area. Fire crews are conducting structure protection. One vehicle was completely burned from the fire.
