Mustang Vs CalTrans Workers | POMONA, CA 11.15.20

POMONA, CALIFORNIA – On Sunday Morning, November 15, 2020, California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station and Los Angeles County Fire Department along with Pomona Pd received multiple 911 calls of a vehicle that crashed through a CalTrans closure and striking 4 workers. One victim had breaking a leg. A black Mustang was found that was facing the wrong way in the construction zone with a broken windshield. One or two CalTrans workers were transported to Pomona Valley Hospital. The other two workers were checked out at the scene and cleared. At the time of the accident CalTrans had three of the five lanes closed. Unknown at this time how the accident occurred or if alcohol or speed was a factor. California Highway Patrol will be handling the investigation into the traffic accident.
