Miraculous Story Of Survival | GLENDORA, CA 3.26.21

GLENDORA, CALIFORNIA – March 26, 2021 at 1:45 am, Los Angeles County Fire Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department San Dimas Station and California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station responded to a vehicle over the cliff at Glendora Mountain Rd at mile marker 6.00 from E Fork Rd. One victim was able to make it to Highway 39 near the San Gabriel Dam where he waved down a passing vehicle that was able drive him to the bottom of Saint Gabriel Canyon Rd Highway 39 to call 911. The victim told firefighters and deputies that the accident occurred around 9 PM on March 25th and that it took him three hours to hike down the canyon to find help on Highway 39. He told firefighters and deputies that both of his friends had broken legs and arms and made it halfway down the hill just above San Gabriel Dam. Firefighters used a chopper to airlift one of the patients that was found and transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Firefighters and San Dimas Sheriff‘s Search and Rescue could hear the third victim but could not locate him due to the thick brush and darkness. The search continued into sunup. Eventually the third victim was found and was transported to an area hospital.
