FRESNO, CALIFORNIA – (LLN) – On Thursday night, January 14, 2021, the Fresno Police Department along with the Fresno Fire Department responded to reports of a stabbing at an apartment complex. The stabbing was reported shortly before 8:00pm at the Ranchwood Apartments in the 4800 block of Lane Avenue. Arriving officers located a male victim suffering from apparent stab wounds near apartment # 160. The victim was transported at an area hospital via ground ambulance in stable condition. According to a Sgt. at the scene, the victim was alert and talking and the suspect was outstanding. A motive for the stabbing wasn’t immediately known.
