Early Sunday morning September 30, 2018 Cal Fire / Riverside County Fire along with AMR and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a vehicle into a structure in the community of Glen Avon. The crash was reported at 1:04am in the 9700 block of Mission Boulevard at Chuy’s Market. The first arriving engine company reported one vehicle into the commercial building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the crash is under investigation. Security footage shows the vehicle traveling eastbound on Mission Boulevard at a high rate of speed when the driver loses control, crosses over the double yellow line and slams into the market sideways. Footage also shows three people exit the vehicle and walk away. One female, possibly the driver, remained at the scene until she too eventually left the scene before Deputies arrived.
