GARDENA, CALIFORNIA – A traffic collision on the 110 south left one person dead. LAFD firefighters also extricated another occupant from a Jeep and transported him to an area hospital in critical condition. At least three vehicles were involved in the major accident which caused CHP officers to initiate a hard closure of all lanes on the 110 freeway southbound just north of the 91 interchange. It is not known at this time what caused this unfortunate incident.
