Huntington Park: DUI Crash Involving Vernon PD Officer

At 1:25 am a Vernon PD Officer was patrolling an area on Soto St. when a vehicle speeding down Soto St. crashed into the officers vehicle. The small sedan crashed into the patrol vehicle then went on to crash into a small tree on the opposite side of the street. The officer involved suffered only minor injuries and was released on scene. The female driver was arrested on DUI charges and her male passenger was arrested on disorderly conduct. The Huntington Park Police are leading the investigation.
