BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA – On Saturday, June 5, 2021 California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a gunshot victim southbound 605 freeway at Lower Azusa Rd. Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene they located a vehicle that was shot at multiple times and then crashed into the center divider on the 605 fwy just before lower Azusa Road. Unknown at this time how many times the vehicle was shot at or if the victim was a sho. CHP had all southbound lanes of the 605 fwy closed as they search for shell casings. CHP was able to locate two shell casings on the freeway. Unknown at this time what led up to the shooting.
