Fatal Pursuit Crash | APPLE VALLEY, CA 4.8.21

APPLE VALLEY. CALIFORNIA – A pursuit came to a violent end Thursday afternoon in Apple Valley when a suspect driving a sedan ran a stop sign and was struck by an SUV. The accident occurred around 3:50 PM in the intersection of Yucca Loma Road and Iroquois Road. According to a witness (on camera), the suspect was heading north on Iroquois Road when the suspect ran the stop sign at Yucca Loma and was struck by the SUV. The sedan ‘went flipping’ into the air and landed in the front yard of a home at 13721 Iroquois Road. The female driver of the SUV was extricated from her vehicle and flown to a trauma center by a CHP helicopter. Paramedics attempted to extricate the suspect but, after 30 + minutes, the paramedics and ambulances departed without the suspect. An additional Air Ambulance was also cancelled. The reason for the pursuit is unknown. .
