SAN PEDRO – The 4.6 magnitude earthquake in the San Gabriel area broke a water main beneath the intersection, sending water and debris gushing onto the street. LAFD and LAPD have closed Weymouth from 6th St to 7th St until further notice pending repairs from DWP. A resident confirmed that directly after the earthquake struck, the water main broke. Parts of San Pedro were also left without street lights, in the area of 13th St and Leland St.
