Cops Pull Suspect To Safety After Smashing Dodge Charger Pursuit Crash | ROSEMEAD, CA 6.2.21

ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA – On Thursday June 3, 2021, California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park attempted to pull over a Dodge Charger for high-speeds westbound 10 Freeway Azusa Ave. The suspect in the Charger did not stop and a pursuit started reaching speeds of 100 mph westbound 10 freeway in the city of West Covina. The suspect continued westbound on the 10 freeway where the suspect attempted to exit at N Walnut Grove Ave from the freeway at high speeds and crashed into the wall trapping the suspect. The vehicle started to catch fire with the suspect still inside trapped. CHP officers from Baldwin Park used multiple fire extinguishers to stop the spread of the fire as other officers attempted to pull the suspect out of the vehicle to a safe location. CHP officers were able to pull the suspect out of the vehicle to a safe location as a vehicle caught fire. The suspect was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. CHP Baldwin Park had the off ramp closed and the on ramp closed at N Walnut Grove Ave. No officers were injured during the pursuit.
