LYNWOOD CA – LASD was on scene in Lynwood as reports of a man with a gun that barricaded himself inside one of the homes in the area of Alpine St. & Carlin. Reports came in of the person in question being the shooting suspect that shot two LASD deputies a few nights ago. SWAT detectives and other nearby agencies were on hand to contain the possible suspect to the home in question on Alpine St. Compton Fire was on stand by as reports of the shooter was armed and may not want to go without a fight. LASD says the man in the containment is not related to the deputy shooting. The suspect was taken into custody after being bit by a K9. The suspect was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
