POMONA, CALIFORNIA – California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station started to receive multiple 911 calls of a traffic collision with one vehicle in lanes of the westbound 10 freeway just before Fairplex Dr. CHP was in route when a second traffic collision occurred (ON CAMERA). A van struck the vehicle that was in lanes. CHP arrived on scene and shut down all lanes. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the location, only one person had minor injuries but refused to be transported. CHP got all vehicles into the carpool lane and opened up two lanes of the freeway for traffic. Unknown at this time how the first accident occurred. California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation into the traffic collision.
