GARDEN GROVE, CALIFORNIA – The driver of an SUV was travelling westbound in the 8200 block of Acacia Av in the city of Garden Grove when he hit the curb sending his SUV barreling into two perimeter gates of two different homes. One elderly woman was home at the time of the crash but was not injured. The driver of the SUV was ejected from the vehicle and treated by responding paramedics. He was ultimately transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. Police say speed was definitely a factor but that drugs or alcohol may have also played part. Garden Grove police are investigating.
