FALLBROOK, CALIFORNIA – Sheriff Dept drove through multiple blocks giving evacuation orders and to seek shelter at Fallbrook High School. The Red Cross was on site of the high school readily available for about 250 residents who sought shelter, some residents even bringing horses that the school reserved the baseball field for. Some residents were given hotel vouchers for stays until the evacuation orders were lifted. State of California Police were in an area off De Luz Rd. investigating what was described as the area in which the fire had started. State police were seen gathering evidence and taking pictures for their investigation. The fire had ordered some 7,000 residents out of their home on the morning of Christmas Eve with the Creek Fire at about 35% containment with over 3,000 acres burned.
