POMONA – Pomona Pd along with Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a residence at S Lawrence Place and E Franklin Ave. Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene they located a device that looked like a bomb. Pomona Pd immediately started evacuating nearby residents out of their houses. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Bomb Squad was called out to assist with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
