MORENO VALLEY- In the early morning of Monday August 17, 2020 Cal Fire / Riverside County Fire was dispatched to a commercial structure. The fire was reported around 2:03 AM in the 24200 Block of Sunnymead Blvd. On arrival, fire crews located an abandoned commercial building with heavy fire coming from the front of the building and through the roof. A second alarm was declared at that time. Firefighters moved to a defensive attack on the fire as the roof collapsed in and the risk of concrete walls falling over from the structure. Crews will be on scene for at least 2 hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
