SAN BERNARDINO – Two persons believed to be armed robbery suspects are deceased following a police pursuit crash.
Friday July 3, 2020 around 10:00pm, an armed robbery occurred at the Del Taco in San Bernardino, located at 770 W Second St. San Bernardino Police Officers located the suspect’s vehicle in the armed robbery, and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit came to an end when the suspect’s vehicle lost control and flew off a bridge falling over 40 feet down into a canal. At least two people are deceased, possibly a third. The pursuit termination point is located on Fifth Street, west of N. Flores Street.
