SAN BERNARDINO Early morning Friday May 22, 2020 a 12 year old stole her parents SUV. San Bernardino Police Department located the vehicle occupied with the pre-teen behind the wheel. According to a highway patrol broadcast, San Bernardino Police Department cancelled a pursuit with the vehicle, based on the circumstances. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies located the vehicle occupied in the parking lot of the San Bernardino County Library Admin office. Deputies attempted to stop the girl, however, she fled through the parking lot, and drove westbound from the location. Her vehicles tires appeared to be damaged as she drove on rims with sparks flying. Deputies disengaged following her, based on her age, and the situation. It’s unknown at this time if the child has been located again and or taken into custody.
