SPRINGVILLE, IOWA (LoudLabs CR) – On Friday, October 19th shortly before 7:00 PM, Springville Fire Department, Anamosa Area Ambulance, and Linn County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified of a two vehicle MVA at Highway 151 and Springville Road, just outside Springville. Arriving units found a minivan with severe damage to the rear end on Springville Road, where it came to rest after being struck by a sedan in the southbound travel portion of Highway 151. The sedan continued a short distance due to momentum before knocking over a sign on the road and ending up in the ditch. Two patients from the minivan were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries, the occupants of the sedan were uninjured. The driver of the minivan was cited by LCSO deputies for failing to yield.
