Crews spent part of the night battling a brush fire that scorched a hillside in Lincoln Heights overnight. The fire was reported near the the 3900 block of North Mission Road shortly after 10:00 PM. Crews were able to knocked it down overnight, but it is unclear if any homes were damaged. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
