SOUTH LA – LAPD rescued an injured woman after the airship called for backup. A call of a woman being assaulted by a male came in, the LAPD airship was in the area and saw the woman lying in the street between two cars injured. The airship called for units and the suspect ran into a home. LAPD surrounded the home and called for the male to come. During this time a rescue of the woman took place on camera. Officer came in with guns drawn towards the suspect, made their way to the female and pulled her to safety. In the video you can see that female was limping. A male did come out with his hands after a lengthening wait. He was put in cuffs and taken away. The injured female was looked at by LAFD. Unknown if she was transported to a local hospital.
A woman can be seen in the video, she lives next to the house the suspect ran in… she’s not happy LAPD was there.
