LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – On February 26, 2021 a traffic collision occurred on east Martin Luther King Blvd and Woodlawn Ave in the Historic South Central. Shortly after that, LAPD announced that a police officer was struck and transported to LAC+USC Medical Center. Unfortunately we learned from Chief Michel Moore that officer Jose Anzora passed away from his injuries. The person transported is not the LAPD officer, this footage was taken after Officer Anzora was transported.
