LAKE VIEW TERRACE: Successful Mud Rescue and SOT

At appx 11:42AM on Sunday April 14, LAFD responded to 11170 W Foothill Bl for initial reports of a man uninjured but stuck in deep mud. After an extensive ground search, firefighters located the individual, his dog and two Park Rangers who were assisting him but had also got stuck in the mud. A ground based, rope rescue was performed and all three involved, including the dog, were rescued, evaluated and released.
