JURUPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – On May 24, 2021 at approximately 3:00 pm the Lake Fire in Jurupa Valley jumped the containment lines. At the time the incident commander requested 20 units to immediately respond to the Lake Fire as it was dangerously close to structures at that time. The firefight continued from the air and ground as the day went on.
