AZUSA, CALIFORNIA – The rain started to come down nonstop after 10 PM in San Gabriel Valley. California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station along with Azusa PD received 911 calls of multiple mudslides on Highway 39. The hills in Azusa Canyon along Highway 39 recently had multiple fires, one of them named the Bobcat fire. California Highway Patrol had Highway 39 closed in both directions due to the mudslides as Caltrans cleared the mud.
