A man got stuck in water and had to be rescued after falling 20 feet into a lake of water down below. Huntington Beach lifeguards used a rescue boat operation to extricate the man who authorities say was hiking in the area early this morning. The man lost his footing and slipped down the slope into a small lake of water at the bottom of the hill. It took fire crews a little over an hour to get the man out but feared he might be swept away by some swift moving waters. The man was rescued safely and without further incident and was also checked and released on scene. Fire crews remind the public that the inclement weather can be very dangerous and to use caution when going out.
