SANTA ANA – Shortly after 10:30pm authorities received multiple calls regarding a house on fire in the 100 block of N. Laurel St. in Santa Ana. Units arriving noticed a large plume of black smoke with fire showing from a few blocks out. Initial reports of a possible trapped victim but all parties were able to make it out alive and well. The fire did extend into the neighboring homes and a few families were displaced as a result. The OCFA is investigating the cause and no injuries to report.
