SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA – Officials were at scene of a reported gas explosion inside a home at the 2100 block of Ohio Av in Signal Hill. The reports came in just before 4:30pm. The home was occupied at the time and two people were transported for minor injuries. Gas company is on scene to assist. Signal Hill PD also evacuated nearby residents as there is still a lingering odor of gas and say a possible second explosion could occur. Signal Hill PD is investigating.
