HAMPTON BAYS, NEW YORK – At approximately 3:49 PM Southampton Town Emergency Dispatch received a call for a two vehicle crash on Lynn Avenue at Woodbridge Road. Responding officers found the head on crash with a Honda Civic with two occupants and a Honda CRV with one occupant. Hampton Bays Fire Department, Hampton Bays Ambulance and East Quogue Ambulance both responded. Heavy rescue was requested to assist with the removal of the victims. The two occupants of the 2004 Honda Civic Julio D. Zajap-Sinai, 24 and his passenger Juana Flores-Urbano, 37, both of Hampton Bays were transported by Suffolk County Aviation to Stony Brook Hospital. The driver of the 2006 Honda CRV, Leslie Carr, 45, of Southampton was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Zajap-Sinai is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated after it was determined that he crossed into the path of the Honda CRV causing the head on accident. Southampton Town Police Detectives responded and are continuing the investigation in to the crash.
