A man described by residents as being in his 40s was found laying in the road of a residential area Hesperia on Thursday night. The victim told the residents that he had been hit by a car as he walk home from a nearby 7/11 but the residents discovered that he had wounds indicating that he had been stabbed numberous times. The residents applied pressure to the wounds and called 911. The man was agitated and gave at least two different names. The incident was reported around 7:15 PM in the 14300 block of Poplar Street. San Bernardino County Sheriff Hesperia responded as well as San Bernardino County Fire. The victim was treated by paramedics and transferred to an air ambulance to be taken to a Trauma Center. Investigation is being handled by the Hesperia Sheriff. There is no official confirmation whether the incident was in fact a auto v ped accident or a stabbing.
