A fire destroyed a home and displace a family late Monday night in Hesperia. The fire broke out around 10:00 PM at a house located in the 17100 block of Birch Street. Arriving firefighters report a home with heavy smoke and flames showing. According to scanner traffic, the fire began in the garage and spread into the attic. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported. Red Cross was called to assist the displaced residents.
