A fire in an illegal marijuana grow house destroyed a home in Hesperia Saturday night. The fire was reported around 8:45 PM at a home in the 11400 block of Oakwood Avenue. Arriving units reported fire in the attic. A roof collapse caused SBCo Fire fighters to back off an aggressive fire attack. When firefighters entered the house they discovered the marijuana grow operation. Southern California Edison was called to check for illegal power connections and can be seen removing equipment from power poles.SBSO Hesperia was called to the scene and it is believed that they detained at least one person.
