Two people were killed in a plane crash Friday evening in Hesperia. The accident occurred just after 5:00 PM south of the Hesperia Airport. The pilot of a Beechcraft Bonanza single engine aircraft was attempting to take off from Hesperia Airport when the accident occurred. At least two pieces of the aircraft fell/dislodged from the plane just as it was lifting off. According to a witness, the plane lost altitude after taking off, clipped some power lines and fell to the ground along Summit Valley Road erupting into flames. Arriving Sheriff and Fire personnel found two victims in the plane. Both were pronounced deceased on scene. FAA and NTSB investigators were on scene investigating the accident.
