Story Details: Time – 1:40am Location – 110 S north of the 91 interchange, Gardena Handling Agencies – CHP, LAFD, LA Port Police
An OPG tow truck driver was towing a motorhome to the LAPD yard when the motorhome somehow caught fire. LAFD firefighters were able to put the blaze out while CHP controlled traffic and blocked all lanes during the incident. Witnesses thought they heard a man’s voice calling out from the fiery motorhome. After an investigation by Port Police and CHP, it was declared that the motorhome was vacant and being towed by OPG.
