POMONA – At 12:21 am Pomona Pd along with Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple 911 calls of a brush fire southbound 71 freeway just South of Mission Boulevard. Pomona Pd arrived on scene and located a medium sized brush fire and shut down one lane of the southbound 71 freeway. Los Angeles county fire arrived on scene and were able to contain it and have knocked down within 30 minutes of the call coming out.
