WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA – West Covina Fire Department, West Covina PD, and California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park station responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles with one vehicle overturned on its side with one person trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters used the jaws of life to cut open the roof to get a female victim out of the SUV. She was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. A person in the other vehicle was also transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition. Unknown at this time how the accident occurred. West Covina PD will be handling the investigation into the traffic collision.
