UPPER EAST SIDE, MANHATTAN, NEW YORK – A person was taken into custody after threatening to jump in the water at the edge of the seaport near FDR and East 90th Street. This occurred around 10:30 am and prompted a police response from the NYPD emergency service units, harbor units. scuba team and aviation. The person was placed in an ambulance and taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
