SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA – Cal Fire Riverside, Riverside Sheriff, CHP, and AMR responded to Gilman Springs Road and Bridge st in San Jacinto in reference to a traffic collision with extrication.
Fire units arrived on scene and noticed a vehicle was off the road and on fire. This fire then started the brush on fire which prompted a full brush response with aircraft.
Witnesses were giving one person from the car CPR as fire units arrived on scene. There was a second person that was in the vehicle that suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance. The one individual succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at scene.
