MORENO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (LLN) – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department along with Cal Fire / Riverside County Fire responded to reports of a solo vehicle crash into a wall. The crash was reported around 11:03pm at Sunnymead Blvd. and Kitching St. The first arriving engine company reported a 4-door silver sedan into a sound wall. At least one occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to an area resident, the vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign on Kitching St at Sunnymead Blvd and slammed head-on into the sound wall that divides the 60 Freeway from Sunnymead Blvd. Deputies at the scene declined to provide any details surrounding the deadly crash. No further information was immediately available.
