8.25.20 | Video by Adam Balhetchet | EAST ELMHURST, Queens (DCPI) – On Tuesday August 25, 2020, at approximately 2245 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot inside of 26-49 96th Street, within the confines of 115 Precinct. Upon arrival, police discovered a 33-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS responded and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospital / Elmhurst where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
