Family Nearly Escapes Fire With Their Dog | SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA 12.6.20


SOUTH LA, CALIFORNIA – LACoFD received a call for a structure fire near Budlong Ave and 98th St in South LA around 6:30pm. They found a two story apartment building with flames showing. Firefighters quickly got a handle of the flames and had a knock down shortly after. A wife, husband, and their dog escaped the flames. The husband was checked out by paramedics as he sat in a lawn chair with his dog that looked pretty happy they got out in time. Besides some smoke inhalation and a smoke covered dog no one was seriously injured. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. No further information available.
