CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – CMPD Steele Creek Officers, MEDIC & CFD responded to a crash involving a utility pole. The crash occurred at the intersection of South Tryon St & Westinghouse Blvd. (Across from CMPD Steele Creek Division Office). Police scanner traffic said the crash was the result of a police chase (we can’t confirm that yet). Charlotte Fire had to free at least one person who was trapped inside the vehicle. A CMPD officer on scene did confirm this crash was a result of “DRUNK DRIVING”. The officer also confirmed to us there were multiple people inside the vehicle.
