POMONA, CALIFORNIA – California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park started to receive multiple 911 calls of a wrong way yellow box truck traveling westbound 10 freeway in the eastbound lanes at Garey Avenue. CHP received more 911 calls that the box truck was traveling westbound in eastbound lanes coming up to Kellogg Drive. A CHP unit that was traveling westbound on the 10 freeway was able to catch up to the vehicle and stop the box truck in the eastbound lanes of the 10 fwy at Kellogg Drive before a major accident occurred. The driver and his dog were both taken into custody. The driver was telling officers that he was sleepy and wanted to get home and go to bed.The driver was senn being taken away in handcuffs.
