RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA – On Tuesday November 10th the driver of a Nissan pickup truck attempted to beat a Metrolink train at the crossing on W Main St and Commercial Ave. The train struck the pickup truck and carried it several hundred feet away. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
